A whisper is all that is needed
To make you realize the truth
A quick glance across the room
Can bring your dreams to life
If you feel her brush against you
She does so with a purpose
To close the gap of the widening chasm
Reaching out to make you notice
Desperation is evident
Longing for that special person
Aching to feel the heat of passoin
Wishinig it to be real again
Her painful memories haunt
Her loving looks are gaunt
The outcome of her dismal past
Blocks her heart's rightful path
Be open to life and to yourself
