Live Passionately

The will of the people
The power of the masses
The soullessness of so many
Prevents me from reaching the press

If only they knew how true I was
If only they could see without their eyes
They would see a man that is blinded
Blinded by sincerity without any disguise

People watch fiction filled with sex and blood
People sit at home reading stories of lust
But when in the public eye the mask goes up
Afraid to confront that which heightens their pulse

I've seen it happen, so many times
Secretly wanting and dissolving the dreams
Believing that it will all just go away
But I know the passion that screams

Maybe Im wrong and I am a bit off base
Are the dreams truly not attainable?
Maybe my brain is warped more than most
Is passionate living not sustainable?

I dont believe that we should quit
I want to continue to chase the sunset
I know that I may never get to the end
But it sure will be fun until my life is spent.
