We all have wishes and we all have dreams
We want more than we have it seems
But life is not easy and some see this truth
So they accept this fact to spend time with our youth
They teach them right from wrong and how to have compassion
They are real people that dont give a damn about fashion
Role models for children and heroes to us all
It doesnt matter if they dont own a mall
You can call them poor but I call them rich
Rich with love and honor and have found their niche
They dont complain about what they dont possess
Thankful for what they have without the excess
Taking life day by day and making ends meet
These are the true heroes I wish to meet
Be kind to others and do not judge
Spread your wealth and not greedy carnage
I surely do encourage to be all that you can
But it doesnt include stepping on others to be "The Man"
Appreciate what you have and hold your head up high
Complaints get you nowhere and you'll get nothing but sighs
I honor those that are happy with less than deserved
They keep the country moving with undying nerves
Thank you to all who inspired this ode
When you were born you broke the mold.
