I'm not quite sure how to feel
Seeing him with her doesnt look real
Is it possible that she sees past that face?
It looks like he's from outer space
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder
She must be looking at his shoulder
She can't possibly find him attractive
She has to be one of his captives
What kind of evil poison was in her wine?
It must be stronger than potion #9
Is cupid playing a cruel malicious joke?
Trying to give this man a little hope?
But alas it's true I've spoken to them both
They are in love and it's not just sunstroke
For him it was love at first sight
But wary of bringing his love to light
They became friends and talked every day
Slowly building a bond that is here to stay
She dated others and he sat back and witnessed
The pain she suffered from always being dismissed
She was looking for love in the "model" man
All she found was beautiful and bland
It took her a while to realize what she had
In front of her nose wearing floods and plaid
A man that loved so deep and true
A man that will always be at the rescue
Funny and kind and witty and wise
Flattering and nice and full of surprise
She now looks past the social crooks
She embraces this man, even his looks
Love is not blind, it sees what's real
It shows you what you should really feel
The so called "ugly" men are just not so
They deserve to be someone's beau
Don't prejudge by how someone appears
Find out what makes them so dear
Maybe we will all learn a lesson from them
About how to treat each other and not condemn
Inspired by those that think they are beasts
Love is there, it's floating in the breeze
