"Pure Gold" Inspired by Matt

When I was a child I had a common wish
To have a golden tooth in my mouth to brandish
I dreamt every night of the crowds I would attract
I knew if I had it the women would be on the attack

My mouth was small it must have been a sign
A day didnt go by that it didnt cross my mind
As my baby teeth were lost and others took there place
I began to wonder if gold would ever don my face

Throughout high school and college I would say
"Someday Ill have the golden tooth" and then I would pray
People laughed at my dream and scoffed at my pleas
They pretended to have a small mouth just like me.

"I'll show you!" I yelled as I ran away in tears
Never knowing what fate would bring in the coming years
About two months back I took a blow to the face
This usually doesnt happen during a turtle race.

A little effin kid threw his turtle at my head
Because my turtle was bigger or so they said
Out popped a tooth, roots up and ripped out
A bloody mess and the kids all laughing no doubt.

But since that day my world has been bliss
Money and women, it cant get much better than this
All because of a little child's dream
The Gold Tooth in my mouth shines supreme.
